I am Wendy de Graaf, a qualified jobcoach and specialized in participation- and career counseling. I have founded  Unfold in 2024 to guide people who get stuck in their work to the next step in their career.

I myself have explored different areas of work, from online marketer to manager at a bakery. Of course there was something I liked in all of those jobs, and financially it was fine, but it just never felt exactly right.
Why not? For a long time I was not quite sure actually. Until, together with a career coach, I discovered I had to look into my intrinsic motivation.

That insight eventually led me to a study to become a job coach. Working with people who have difficulty finding work, and together with them finding a job that fits them just right, that is what makes me tick. Ever since I have been active as a career coach. And that feeling, that everything falls into place, I would love for you to experience that too!

Clearly you don’t need to derive everything from work – in our private life we are also able to find fulfillment – however it is crucial to know where your exact motivation comes from.Do you want to contribute to a better world, work for a rewarding salary, or perhaps to enhance your social contacts? No matter the reason, it all starts with insight in motivation and to act accordingly to those values.

My coaching style is all about discovering new possibilities and breaking through thinking patterns. I know very well what it’s like to be stuck in your career, and I believe the key to change lies
in daring to look at things from a different perspective. That’s exactly what we’re going to do together.

I challenge you to think outside the box. Sometimes that takes some getting used to, but it often leads to surprising insights and solutions. As a coach I am optimistic, but also down-to-earth. I am here to help you (re)discover your own strengths, with a touch of humor and perspective.

My approach is personal and adaptable. I help you discover your inner drive: What do you really want in your work? What are your values and what moves you? We will be looking at your interests, and even more so at what gives you energy and what
truly makes you happy. Because I want you to have a job that you are not only good at, but that also contributes to your personal development and happiness.

Unfold represents discovering your own potential. Many people can put into words what they don’t want in the workplace, but find it difficult to define what it is they do want. At Unfold we work together on that question
